www.Wednesday

Yup, it’s Wednesday again…

The three questions cover the past, present and future, so let’s get to it. Between last week and now, I finished listening to Maisie Dobbs and posted a review. I read The Duke is But a Dream by Anna Bennett which I found rather disappointing. No duke would allow his sister to be exposed to someone he picked up off the floor in a tavern and no young woman of those times, whatever times they were, would be allowed to act that way even slightly. I also read The Seduction Expert by Saya Lopez Ortega. The concept was very strange and I found the cliff hanger ending very abrupt. I hope that woman gets what’s coming to her. Definitely not what she things she deserves, though. These two both need to be reviewed for NetGalley. Third time’s the charm! I read Cold Heart, Warm Cowboy by Caitlin Crews, which I really liked. It’s the second book in its series about a ranch family in Colorado. The story was good and the characters are great, cowboys, rodeo, and heartbreak. I want to go back and get the first book read while the author writes the next book in the series so I’m ready for book three. Definitely worth reading.

Currently, I’m reading The Quiet Ones by Betsy Reavley. So far, I haven’t really gotten into it, but I won’t give up on it yet. I haven’t chosen an audible book to listen to right now, but I’m working on some knitting, so I better choose one soon.

My next read will either be Spring Equinox of the Four Sworn by Lenore Sagaskie (recommended by a blog) or Resistance Women by Jennifer Chiaverini (recommended by my sister).

  1. I’m glad you’re enjoying your books even if some don’t follow the time period very well. Happy reading and thanks for participating in WWW Wednesday!
