What have I, what am I, and what will I read? The three w’s…
Past tense…
I finished The Quiet Ones by Betsy Reavley. This was a strange one alright. A psychological mystery thriller, which is not my usual style. I think that’s why I had so much trouble getting into it. I’ll be reviewing it soon. I got the review for Cold Heart, Warm Cowboy by Caitlin Crews done. Still haven’t reviewed Seduction Expert or The Duke is But a Dream. But I read Resistance Women by Jennifer Chiaverini and it was really good. I gave it a 5-star review. You should have already seen it as I wrote the review and posted it Monday. Some books you just can’t hold back on. I wrote the review for The Earl Next Door by Amelia Grey, which will post next Monday. So look for that.
Present tense…
I just started to listen to Three Mages and a Margarita: The Guild Codex: Spellbound Book #1 by Annette Marie, read by Chris Dukehart. I only had about ten minutes last evening, so I’m not very far into it yet. And I’m reading a cozy called Live and Let Chai by Bree Baker about a gal who returns to her hometown and opens an iced tea shop with over 30 flavors of iced tea and baked goodies only to find a body in her shrubbery just before she has her grand opening party. There is, of course, a really good looking cop involved.
Future tense…
Coming up is The Four Sworn: Spring Equinox by Lenore Sagaskie, Cappuccinos, Cupcakes and a Corpse by Harper Lin, and Gate of Shadows by R. Kitt. I also just got When Death is Calling by Henry Taba and Wicked on the Beach by Lotta Smith.
