Brought to you by the verb “to read

In the past, present, and future tense.

As in have been reading, are currently reading,

And might read next…or are considering reading next…

This is my variation on the meme done by others,

And very well, I might add.

I did finish The Emerald Tablet, which was great. Check out my review. And I finally finished Nottingham! Wow, what an amazing story it was. Read my review. I have decided to DNF Bloodlust and Bonnets and let those who understand graphic novels better than I read and review it. Sorry, Ms. McGovern. I would make a poor job of it and I’m pretty sure it doesn’t deserve that. No more graphic novels for me. I finished I am Justice by Diana Munoz Stewart and also read the second book in the series The Price of Grace. I have the next book all lined up to read as well, The Edge of Obsession. I haven’t made any more progress on In the Shadow of Salem. I read Forever My Duke by Olivia Drake and will be writing my review on that closer to its release at the end of December. I also read Rings on Her Fingers by Regina Welling, the first book in her Psychic Seasons series. I’ve started the second book now, Bells on Her Toes. It’s a pretty good series so far about a quirky circle of friends as each one finds her soul mate. I read and reviewed The Disciples of Trikaal by Varun Sayal. It’s a short prequel to his Time Travelers series. Very good. I also squeezed in Your Perfect Year by Charlotte Lucas which was a bit different, but I enjoyed it. It was an early release from Amazon for October. I’ll get around to reviewing it at some point.

I am currently reading Bells on Her Toes by Regina Welling as I said. And I need to put some time into In the Shadow of Salem. I hate reading books like that around Halloween, though.

What’s new? You Say it First and Meant to Be Yours of Happily Inc by Susan Mallery; and I discovered that I have the Christmas book for this series in my TBR, A Very Merry Princess! I also got The Goddesses of Japan by Kazuko Nishimura from KU. And author Kee Patterbee sent me a copy of Water’s Edge, book one of her Hannah Starvling Mysteries.

Several months ago I was 16 books behind on my Annual Book Challenge on GoodReads. Right now I am 19 books ahead, I only have 7 more books to read to complete my challenge for the year! It’s weeks like this that do it for me!

How are you doing on your annual challenge? Only two more months to go to complete it. Do you need to catch up or are you ahead or done?
