When I got this “book” I was under the impression it was the whole book until I got to the end. I wasn’t happy to suddenly be out of book. Then, I read some of the reviews and one explained that there is a preview version and a complete version. Obviously, I had the preview version of the first couple of chapters. I’m in the process of trying to get the complete version because the preview version really startled me.
Iris starts out totally depressed and in the dumps at first. Can’t even seem to get herself cleaned up and dressed, never mind make the effort to do something. Her roommate convinces her to go to an art gala with her. She meets a man and all of a sudden a switch in her head flips and she’s decided she’s in need of a wild sexual adventure and seduces the guy on the stairway at the art gala under an assumed name! End of preview.

Both the in the dumps and sexual seductress are totally believable as written. Which one is the true Iris Thompson? Well, that’s what I want to know! That’s why I want to read the whole story! That’s why I’m trying so hard to get my hands on a copy of Alter Ego! News at 11…
